Named after the God of War, Ares represents intensity, passion, and spectacle - and that’s exactly what it delivers.

From the outset, Ares hasn’t aimed to simply run competitions. Instead, it has focused on transforming them. By blending high-level judo with professional production - lighting, music, visuals, and an electric atmosphere. The result is an experience that excites athletes, engages spectators, and brings fresh energy into the UK judo scene.

At its core, Ares is driven by purpose. It’s about improving the sport, supporting athletes, and building something bigger than any one individual. This year sees the return of the Top 8 competitors, all battling it out for the Ares title. With elite talent on display, the level of competition promises to be exceptional from start to finish.

If last year is anything to go by, fans are in for something special. The 2025 Premiership delivered a thrilling finale, with Camberley Judo Club crowned champions after an intense showdown that showcased both skill and heart.

For 2026, Ares is building on that success. Expect the signature elements that define the brand - dramatic lighting, powerful music, and a high-energy atmosphere - alongside new additions designed to take the experience even further.
